We here at Buck Creek Winery are loving the summer. It is hard to believe the 4th of July is upon us. We have opened our new Shelter House and back patio. We encourage you to come out and enjoy the great outdoors. We have a nice selection of Fair Oaks Farms cheese on hand for your pleasure.
We certainly look forward to seeing you at the winery.
The vineyard is absolutely beautiful. You are invited to walk and enjoy watching the grapes progressing through their growing season as they begin to ripen. We anticipate harvest from early September through October. As you know, Buck Creek Winery love volunteers, so if you would like to participate, call us or ask to fill out a contact sheet when you come to the winery. If you would like the experience of harvesting the grapes and seeing the beginning of the wine making process, a couple of hours or all day, you will be welcome. WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS.
Tickets for the Indy Wine Trail BarBQue event are currently on sale. Tickets are $22 in advance or $27 the day of the event. The dates for this event are Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th. The event is from noon until 6:00PM, both days. A glass of wine, Bar B Que with sides, wine tasting and a good time is to be had. This is a great summer weekend thing to do in Central Indiana.
We are taking reservations for summer and fall outings in the Shelter House. We can accommodate 20-50 people. Call the Winery(862-9463) for more information. We would love to be part of your celebrations.
